			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p></p><p>We are looking for a highly motivated experienced technician to join our staff as a surgical technician. Our fast paced Veterinary Hospital in Cedar Park is a 2 doctor practice that offers a full range of surgical services. <br />
The ideal candidate for this position will be one who is able to multitask while maintaining utmost attention to detail. Must be customer service oriented and a team player. Must be able to assist doctors with all tasks required to maintain the highest quality surgical environment. <br />
This position consists of: prepping room and animals both domestic and exotic for surgery, administering anesthesia, after surgery care, clean up and detailed charting of the surgical event. Candidate will be responsible for maintaining the controlled drug log on a daily basis.<br />

Department of Endocrinology is current working on a study of diabetes and obesity. We are looking for a recent college graduate with strong attention to detail, true interest in research or attending medical school with a strong work ethic. The selected individual will be trained in handling and breeding of rodents, mouse surgery and molecular techniques such as westernblots and PCR. Prior experience is a plus, but not required. However, the incumbent must possess the aptitude to learn quickly. This is a great opportunity to be well trained in physiological research.</p>
<p>Minimum Requirements</p>
<p>Bachelors Degree in related field such as Science or have an interest in medical school<br />

Experience with molecular techniques</p>

Candidates are expected to have solid knowledge of an array of plastic / cosmetic surgery procedures, be computer literate, familiar with medical photography and to have good personal and telephone skills. Experience with OR and ability to assist with minor office surgeries is mandatory. Bi-lingual is a plus. <br /> <br />
