Santa Rosa Sports & Family Medicine is looking for a dedicated individual to assist with the primary care portion of our comprehensive sports medicine clinic. Enjoy the practice of medicine the way it used to be – in an independently owned, friendly yet professional clinic, without the pressure to see lots of patients an hour. The position begins as a 30 hr/wk maternity coverage with the potential for continued employment. Estimated start date is mid-April.
Duties include:
* diagnosis and treatment of acute, chronic, and long-term health issues
* educate patients and families about preventive care and medical issues
* Some clinical administrative duties in conjunction with physician
* independent and interdependent outpatient care with solo practitioner, Dr. Ty Affleck
* NO OB/Gyn
* NO patients under age 10
Minimum Requirements:
FNP/PA licensed in California
Previous experience in primary care/family practice, urgent care, or general practice preferred
Positive personality with strong collaborative and teaching skills
Ability to be self directed, work efficiently and multi-task
Good sense of humor
