The Clinic Nurse Manager for the Radiology Lab is responsible for the effective management of the clinic, to include the provision and evaluation of nursing care.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provides effective leadership by coordinating the services of various professional disciplines, to include the direct supervision of nursing, within the clinic and with other departments to deliver quality patient care in an ambulatory setting.

- Constructs and delivers a schedule of services based on patient demand and available resources. Develops and manages capital and operating budgets to support the delivery of services.

- Manages department human resources by: determining qualifications, competence and performance expectations; implementing and monitoring staffing plans; ensuring orientation, in-service training and continuing education of all staff in clinic, and applying policies pertaining to human resources management.

- Continuously assesses and improves the departments clinical and business performance, to include new patient and new program development.

- Supports management and clinical functions with suitable information and data management systems.

- Implements policies and procedures that guide and support the provision of clinic services.

- Manages the environment (of care) by developing, implementing and monitoring processes to reduce and control environmental hazards and risks, preventing accidents and injuries and maintaining safe conditions for patients, staff and visitors.

Requirements:

Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.

Experience: 36 months RN experience with at least 12 months in practice area, or equivalent experience; has practiced in the last 3 years; previous management experience preferred.

Licensure, Registry or Certification Required: RN currently licensed in South Carolina

Special Training: Must possess knowledge and skills necessary to treat patients; other training as required by department.
